There’ll be a special screening of the Doctor Who Season 2 story The Time Meddler at London’s BFI, to celebrate the release of the season as part of the Blu-ray Collection, on Saturday 29 October 2022 12:00 in NFT1.

The Doctor, Vicky and Steven arrive in Saxon England in 1066, where they discover the use of a number of 20th-century items such as a gramophone and wrist watch. Soon the Doctor finds himself in a battle of wits against a mischievous adversary who is a clearly a long way from home. Dennis Spooner’s fine script for this final story of Season 2 combined the historical with the futuristic and features a standout performance by Peter Butterworth as The Monk.

Tickets will go on sale on 15th September for members.
