Christian Slater has joined the cast of the new Willow TV series on Disney+.

He will play a friend of Madmartigan who assists in the quest, according to the panel at D23.

“I love the fantasy, the sci-fi, just getting to be a part of this show was, I will be honest with you an absolute dream come true,” he said. “This was a very fun character, we got to have some improve, ad-libs we came up with stuff on the spot which was fun.”

Ellie Bamber, Ruby Cruz, Erin Kellyman, Amer Chadha-Patel, Tony Revolori and Joanne Whalley star alongside Warwick Davis. The show is expected to launch in November.
