The Star Wars panel at D23 included trailers and footage from many of the shows coming up, with some of these released to those outside the room.

Andor – which starts in 10 days time – received a final trailer. “We’re going to go back five years before Rogue One, and you won’t believe where you find these characters,” Luna told the audience. “You’ll see Cassian and not believe he was able to do what they did in Rogue One. It’s about a revolutionary and bringing change and hopefully a story you will love to watch.”

Tales of the Jedi will follow shortly behind Andor, with a teaser trailer released for the six animated shorts arriving on October 26.

The Bad Batch season 2 arrives in January 2023; the teaser has not yet been released.

The Mandalorian season 3 – aka the Baby Yoda show – will arrive some point in 2023, and, according to star Kattee Sackhoff, will be “crazy”. Carl Weathers and Giancarlo Esposito are confirmed to be joining Sackhoff and Pedro Pascal in the new show, with Christopher Lloyd set for a guest role.

Ahsoka and Skeleton Crew were also previewed with Rosario Dawson joined for the former by Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Ivanna Sakhno, Natasha Liu Bordizzo and Eman Esfandi as Ezra Bridger, a character first introduced in Star Wars: Rebels. Hayden Christensen returns as Anakin Skywalker, with Ray Stevenson as a villain.
