Tributes are being paid to author Peter Straub, who died on September 4 aged 79.

Perhaps best known for his two collaborations with Stephen King – The Talisman and Black House – Straub has a huge body of work including the novels Julia, Ghost Story, Shadowland and Floating Dragon among many others. His books and stories were nominated for twelve World Fantasy Awards, winning four, and fourteen Bram Stoker Awards, winning ten.
