Legendary Doctor Who director Graeme Harper – the only director to work on both 20th and 21st century versions of the series – will be making a special appearance at the Museum of Classic Sci-Fi on October 29.

This will be a chance to meet and chat with some of the creatives behind the creation of Doctor Who in a small, intimate event – with strictly limited tickets (this is not a ‘cattle shed -dash and sign’ experience!).

Graeme will be joining the previously confirmed guests – Margot Hayhoe, Sophie Aldred, Keith Barnfather new series monster-makers Philip Robinson and Hal Townsend

Margot Hayhoe worked with the first five Doctors on such classics as ‘Fury from the Deep’ and Tom Baker’s finale – ‘Logopolis’. If that wasn’t enough, she also helped produce the BBC’s iconic adaptation of ‘The Day of the Triffids’ in 1981 and will be unveiling the restored miniature Triffid from the production during the day!

Sophie Aldred played the Doctor’s companion ‘Ace’ and is reprising the role in the new series airing near the date of the event.

Keith Barnfather, producer/director of independent film company ‘Reeltime Pictures’, will be screening ‘Doctor on Display’ as part of the event.

Monster-makers Philip Robinson and Hal Townsend will be in attendance with perhaps a monster or two in tow.

Q & As, a screening, a visit to the museum and a chance to chat to the guests – all in the lovely Village Hall at Allendale (with a coffee, home bakes and bar available throughout).
