Weird N.J. magazine is being adapted for TV by Sony as a live action horror comedy, according to Deadline.
The magazine was created in 1993 by Mark Moran and Mark Sceurman and is a “travel guide to the places you won’t find on a tourist map”. Little Demon’s Keiran Valla will pen the script, which follows “an estranged family that is forced by destiny to protect New Jersey from evil”. They must “temper their resentments and battle a supernatural adversary, who plans to destroy the Garden State and then the world”. Valla’s Little Demon arrives on FX on August 25.
