With the new Game of Thrones series starting in a couple of weeks, HBO are ramping up the promotion, with a new featurette starring the world’s creator George R.R. Martin now out.

The five minute piece allows Martin to introduce the various characters that populate the series.

Creator and executive producer George R.R. Martin sets up the Game of Thrones prequel, sharing key details on major Houses and relationships featured in the series, alongside illustrations from Fire & Blood artist Doug Wheatley.

House of the Dragon lands on August 21 on HBO / August 22 on Sky.
