The Sandman is here – finally – and Nick Joy has watched and reviewed it all. Our reviews will be released over the weekend, with episodes 1-3 coming at various points today… Episode 1 sees Charles Dance take centre stage.

For those familiar with the comics (full disclosure: I’ve been there since the beginning) I was giddy at seeing such a faithful rendition of the elements that made the comic unique, with some shots replicating panels perfectly.
