Sci-Fi Bulletin: Exploring the Universes of SF, Fantasy, Horror and Spy-fi!

Blood of My Blood, a prequel to Starz’ highly successful Outlander series, has been given a green light.

Matthew B Roberts will be writer and showrunner, alongside Maril Davis and Ronald D. Moore as exec producers. The series will chart the love affair of Ellen MacKenzie and Brian Fraser, Jamie’s parents.

“Outlander is a riveting show that from season to season has captured the hearts of its fans around the world,” said Busby, President, Original Programming at Starz said. “We are excited to peel back the layers of this vibrant world to bring our audience the origin of where it all began. Matthew, Maril, and Ronald will continue to bring their excellent vision and creativity to this new iteration, and we can’t wait to see what happens next.”
