Highly acclaimed animated Marvel series What If…? is getting a third season, beyond the next batch of episodes which will be arriving early in 2023.

“What If…?” Season 2 continues the journey with The Watcher as our guide through the vast multiverse, introducing brand new and familiar faces throughout the MCU. The animated series questions, revisits, and twists classic Marvel Cinematic moments with an incredible voice cast that includes a host of stars who reprise their iconic roles.

The trailer – as yet unreleased by Disney publicly – includes scenes from Neil Gaiman’s 1602 take on the Marvel Universe, as well as the return of Captain Carter.

The Marvel Zombies series – which developed from a season 1 episode of What If? – will include Shang-Chi, Katie, and Kate Bishop battling the zombies.
