The end of the Michael Myers / Laurie Strode story is in sight, with a first trailer for Halloween Ends now out from Universal.

Jamie Lee Curtis dropped news of the trailer a few minutes before its surprise release.

Curtis, Andi Matichak, Will Patton, Kyle Richards and Omar Dorsey return from the earlier films in the new trilogy which will be directed by David Gordon Green from a script he wrote with Danny McBride, Paul Brad Logan and Chris Bernier. Halloween Ends is due out October 14.
