Sci-Fi Bulletin: Exploring the Universes of SF, Fantasy, Horror and Spy-fi!

Netflix’s new time travelling police procedural Bodies, based on the graphic novel by Si Spencer, will be led by Code 404’s Stephen Graham.

Shira Haas, Jacob Fortune-Lloyd, Amaka Okafor and Kyle Soller will also star in the project. The comic book was originally published in 2015 by Vertigo. Paul Tomalin and Danusia Samal are writing.

The original was described as: Four detectives, four time periods, and four dead bodies — all set in London. Edmond Hillinghead is an 1890s overachiever who’s trying to solve a murder no one cares about while hiding his own secret. Karl Whiteman is our dashing 1940’s adventurer with a shocking past. Shahara Hasan is 2014’s kickass female Detective Sergeant, who walks the line between religion and power. And Maplewood, an amnesiac from post-apocalyptic 2050, brings a haunting perspective to it all.
