JK Simmons and Sissy Spacek won’t be returning for a second season of Night Sky on Prime Video, Deadline has reported.

The SF series about a possible portal to another world dropped its eight episodes on May 20, but despite a good critical response, it didn’t chime with audiences. The show was created by Holden Miller.
