Netflix has confirmed that the Russo Brothers’ adaptation of Simon Stålenhag’s The Electric State will enter production later this year.
Set in a retro-futuristic past, an orphaned teenager (Millie Bobby Brown) traverses the American West with a sweet but mysterious robot and an eccentric drifter in search of her younger brother. Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely have written the script.
