Forces TV – which has been running Blake’s 7, select serials from the classic Doctor Who era and the Ian Ogilvy Return of the Saint amongst its programming – is shutting down at the end of the month.
Its Freeview capacity is being taken over on 30 June by EE. In a statement Forces TV said: “We are very sad to go but, as a military charity and media organisation, we’re focusing our resources on our core mission: to entertain, inform, connect and champion our UK armed forces, families and veterans.”

That’s a shame, been really enjoying seeing Blakes 7 and Doctor Who on Forces TV. They also showed Sapphire and Steel a while back as well. Will miss this channel and its old classic sci-fi tc shows.
