Sir Roger Moore ditched his halo and his ancestral stately home to take on the mantle of 007 for Live and Let Die, the latest Bond movie to hit the big screen.

It feels like despite Moore being clearly one hundred per-cent comfortable in the role and his version of it, the director, writers and studio are still casting around trying to find the absolute best tone and style of movie to put him in.
