Seth Green – whose genre work stretches back to Oz on Buffy the Vampire Slayer and beyond – will be voicing a character for the third season of Stargirl, which will now form part of the fall season on the CW.

The third year had been expected to launch across the summer, but the network has kept one of its few remaining superhero shows for the autumn line up.

Green will be voicing Thunderbolt, succeeding Jim Gaffigan who played the part in season 2.
