Arcbeatle Press have announced the publication of The Minister of Chance, the debut novel from award-winning scriptwriter and playwright Dan Freeman, featuring the character first heard in the Doctor Who audio drama Death Comes to Time.

“I know the formula for doors,” says the Minister, vanishing through the one he has just created in mid air. Teenage barmaid Kitty isn’t the sort to be dismissed easily, though. Armed only with her bad attitude, foul mouth and mysterious strength, she follows him through the glowing doorway, onto the frost bridge between worlds, and into adventure.

“I’m absolutely thrilled!” said Dan. “I’ve been writing this story in my head for over twenty years, and I’m delighted to have the opportunity to let the Minister out!”
