James Cameron’s True Lies is finally coming to TV, in a new incarnation created by Burn Notice/The Gifted’s Matt Nix.

Steve Howey, Ginger Gonzaga, Erica Hernandez, Omar Miller, Mike O’Gorman, Annabella Didion and Lucas Jaye star in the series, that follows a very similar pattern to the 1994 movie:.

Shocked to discover that her bland and unremarkable computer consultant husband is a skilled international spy, an unfulfilled suburban housewife is propelled into a life of danger and adventure when she’s recruited to work alongside him to save the world as they try to revitalize their passionless marriage.

The series will arrive mid-season (ie probably early 2023).
