Christopher Walken will be playing the Emperor in Denis Villeneuve’s Dune Part Two.
He will join returning stars Timothée Chalamet, Zendaya, Rebecca Ferguson and Javier Bardem, while other newcomers for the second half of the tale include Florence Pugh and Austin Butler. Walken’s Emperor Shaddam IV is the ruler of the known universe in Dune’s far future.
Shooting begins on Dune Part Two this summer, with Villeneuve directing from a script by himself and Jon Spaihts based on Frank Herbert’s novel.
