The reboot of SF cult favourite Quantum Leap has been picked up at NBC.

Raymond Lee stars in the new iteration of the show, which picks up 30 years after Sam Beckett went missing in the finale to the original series. The show follows a new team that has been assembled to restart the Quantum Leap project in the hopes of understanding the mysteries behind the machine and the man who created it. Caitlin Bassett, Ernie Hudson, Mason Alexander Park and Nanrisa Lee also star in the series by Steven Lilien and Bryan Wynbrandt.

At present, despite earlier reports, Scott Bakula is not expected to be involved – but this may be in part because he separately has a pilot up for consideration by the same network.
