There will be no further adventures for DC’s Legends of Tomorrow – at least in their own series.

The CW has elected not to order an eighth season of the show. despite season 7 ending on a cliffhanger. The co-showrunner, Keto Shimizu, broke the news on Twitter. A major social media campaign had been waged to try to persuade the network to give them another year – at the very least to wrap things up – but odds are that other shows in the Arrow-verse will deal with the ramifications.
