HBO Max’s DMZ was ill fated, moving from a full series to a four-parter because of COVID, but what’s been released doesn’t hang together well enough.

This series opener left me feeling bloated by an all-you-can-eat buffet of dystopian clichés, and as with most all-you-can-eat buffets, not satisfied in any way
