Those who are missing the complex web of character and plots that characterised the Star Trek 24th century litverse that wrapped up in the recent Star Trek Coda will be pleased to know that the expansion of the 23rd Century mythos that included the Vanguard saga is continuing.

Now it’s live on Amazon.com, David Mack has confirmed a new novel, Harm’s Way, to be published by Gallery Books on November 15, 2022:

Captain James T. Kirk and the crew of the Starship Enterprise go in search of a missing Federation scientist—only to become trapped between a Klingon warship and Starfleet’s mysterious Operation: Vanguard.

Mack has confirmed on social media that the story is set shortly after The Doomsday Machine, around the same time as the middle part of Star Trek: Vanguard: Precipice.
