The next Game of Thrones prequel may have its showrunner, with news that Patriot’s Steve Conrad will be taking charge of Dunk & Egg.

George RR Martin has written various tales featuring Dunk (Ser Duncan the Tall) and Egg (the future King Aegon V. Taregaryen), although none has been published since 2010. The series is set 90 years or so before the main events of A Song of Ice and Fire.
