Sci-Fi Bulletin: Exploring the Universes of SF, Fantasy, Horror and Spy-fi!

Amazon Prime Video is looking to Mass Effect for its next major series, after The Wheel of Time debuted well.

Amazon Studios chief Jennifer Salke explained, “You will see us continuing to invest in fantasy genre of all kinds. We have a genre-focused team on the ground … who work tirelessly with our creative partners on those slates, and you can look forward to more.”

Wheel of Time was the most watched series premiere of the year and one of the Top 5 series launches of all time for Prime Video, according to Salke.

Mass Effect is a sci-fi action video game franchise developed by BioWare and Electronic Arts which launched in 2007, with assorted spin offs over the last few years.
