Prop Store will hold its next cinema poster live auction this December, with the posters and artwork on offer expected to fetch in excess of £250,000. Over 750 rare, sought-after posters and artworks will be sold during Prop Store’s cinema poster auction on Wednesday 8th – Thursday 9th December 2021 from 14:00 GMT.
Auction highlights include:
– The largest collection of alternative movie posters to be sold in Europe including limited edition examples from some of the leading artists in the industry – Tyler Stout, Olly Moss, Jock and many more
– A fully painted Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back (1980) concept movie poster design by Josh Kirby estimated between £6,000 – 8,000
– Exclusive signed and numbered prints from the award-winning creative agency, Feref and movie posters from the personal archives of Emmy nominated television producer, Bryan Fuller, Star Wars and Indiana Jones Producer, Howard Kazanjian, and sci-fi publishing mastermind, Charles Lippincott
The auction is suitable for fans with a variety of budgets and is now open for registration via: http://www.propstore.com/posterauction. The auction will be live streamed online for fans to track the action and participate in bidding.
Top items to be sold at Prop Store’s cinema poster auction include:
FORBIDDEN PLANET (1956) – UK Quad, 1956 est. £8,000 – £10,000 ($11,000 – $13,750)
