A Christmas vacation turns into a nightmare for a teenager and her family when they discover an ancient menace that stalks their island getaway in Netflix’s new Christmas horror series, Elves, which arrives on the streamer on November 28.

“Christmas is coming early this year. Just maybe not in the way you’d expected it to be…” promises the promotion for the Danish series, created by Stefan Jaworski and directed by Roni Ezra. The cast includes Sonja Steen, Milo Toke Bendix Campanale, Ann Eleonora Jørgensen, Vivelill Søgaard Holm, Rasmus Hammerich, Peder Thomas Pedersen, Lila Nobe,l and Lukas Løkken.
