The standalone Rogue Squadron movie has gone on hold, because director Patty Jenkins is so busy at present.

The Hollywood Reporter first broke the news that what was planned as the next Star Wars big screen adventure will not be starting pre-production next year as originally intended. At present no replacement start time has been given, which would strongly suggest that the Christmas 2023 date for release won’t be met.
