Bob Baker, the co-creator of K9 for Doctor Who, has died aged 82.
The news was announced on the K9Official1 twitter feed. Baker was a prolific author, often in partnership with the late Dave Martin, creating Sky and King of the Castle as well as Into the Labyrinth. For Doctor Who, he created Axos, Omega and many more of the Time Lord’s most memorable enemies. He also co-wrote Wallace & Gromit’s adventures, including the movie The Curse of the Were-Rabbit.
A new K9 series is in preparation, which will continue to be made.
