As part of their Sci-Fi, Movie, TV and Music Posters auction on 6th November, Excalibur Auctions are including various posters from 007’s screen adventures – from his first in 1962 (Dr No) to his most recent (No Time to Die).

Excalibur’s Jonathan Torode explained, “James Bond is always a popular section of any movie memorabilia sale and as usual we have a good selection of items available for all pockets. In particular with prices for some of the original UK issued Bond posters now becoming so high a lot of collectors are now looking at European posters which often have just as stunning artwork and currently offer great value for money.”

The lots – in chronological order of movie – are:

Lot 41 – JAMES BOND: DR. NO (1970’s) – Italian One Panel (2-Fogli) – 39″ x 55″ (99 x 140 cm) – 1970s Release – Enzo Sciotti artwork – Folded (as issued). Estimate £150-£250 (NB The original Italian title – “Licence to Kill”)

Lot 43 – JAMES BOND: GOLDFINGER (1965) – German A0 – 33″ x 47″ (84 x 119 cm) – First Release – Rare large format Landscape style German poster – Folded (as issued). Estimate £150-£250


Lot 44 – JAMES BOND: GOLDFINGER / DR. NO (1966) – US Three-Sheet – 41″ x 81″ (104 x 206 cm) – Presented unrestored in two sections as distributed to US cinemas – Folded (as issued). Estimate £200 – £300


Lot 77 – JAMES BOND: YOU ONLY LIVE TWICE (1967) – 11″ x 14″ (28 x 36 cm) – Complete Set of Eight (8) US Lobby Cards for Sean Connery’s penultimate official mission as James Bond 007 as he travels to Japan to defeat Blofeld (Donald Pleasence) in his volcanic lair – Flat/Unfolded. Estimate: £300 – £500


Lot 66 – JAMES BOND: MOONRAKER (1979) – British UK Quad – ROGER MOORE’s 4th outing as James Bond 007 – DAN GOUZEE artwork of Bond in a space suit, the only time Bond is featured wearing anything other than a tuxedo dinner suit – 30″ x 40″ (76 x 101.5 cm) – rolled. Estimate £200 – £400.


Lot 68 – JAMES BOND: NO TIME TO DIE (2021) – (6 in Lot) Set of James Bond and Character British UK Quads for the latest James Bond adventure “No Time To Die” – Following on from another delayed release date these state (incorrectly) ‘In Cinemas November’ – 30″ x 40″ (76 x 102 cm) – Rolled (6). Estimate: £200 – £300
