Following a successful Kickstarter in April, Average Romp Ltd have released the next two episodes of the science fiction sitcom ‘Dick Dixon In the 21st Century’ starring Kieran Hodgson (Two Doors Down, How We Forgot To Save The Planet), Allyson June Smith, Terry Molloy (Doctor Who), Dan Starkey (Doctor Who ), Jez Fielder and Sooz Kempner.

The episodes are now available for purchase from http://www.averageromp.com. The first ten minutes of each episode also can be streamed for free on Spotify and other streaming services; they are guaranteed laugh-out-loud funny. Imagine The Naked Gun or Austin Powers… but in space.

In Episode 2, “The Love Bug”, Dick and company investigate the mystery of the SS Tavares, found drifting on the very outermost fringes of the solar system. The ship’s entire crew appear to have died… from having too much of a good time.

In Episode 3, “Menagerie A Trois”, Professor Disco has gone missing, taking a spaceship and heading for an uncharted planet in the system of Cassiopeia. Could it have something to do with the sinister aliens that inhabit the ruins of a once-great civilisation? Yes.

The episodes were written by Jonathan Morris (Doctor Who for Big Finish, BBC Books, Panini), directed by Toby Hadoke (currently starring in Coronation Street), with sound design and music by Darrell Maclaine.
