American character actor Peter Scolari has died aged 66.
Although probably best known for his appearances on the Bob Newhart Show, Scolari recently played Bishop Thomas Marx on CBS/Paramount+’s Evil. His other genre work included the 1980s The Twilight Zone, Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman, Batman: The Animated Series, Gargoyles, From the Earth to the Moon, Honey I Shrunk the Kids TV show, Touched by an Angel, Sabrina, Commissioner Loeb on Gotham. and Lisey’s Story.
