Jacob Scipio has been cast in the new Batgirl movie for HBO Max.

According to Deadline, the Bad Boys for Life actor will rejoin his directors from that movie, Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah on the tale of Barbara Gordon, played by Leslie Grace. JK Simmons will be playing Commissioner Gordon. The script is by Christina Hodson and the film is expected next year on the streamer.
