Lucifer Morningstar is returning to the small screen – but it’s not Tom Ellis playing the Devil.

Gwendoline Christie will be appearing in the new Netflix series of The Sandman. Tom Sturridge, Vivienne Acheampong, Boyd Holbrook, Charles Dance, Asim Chaudhry, Sanjeev Bhaskar, Kirby Howell-Baptiste, Mason Alexander Park, Donna Preston, Jenna Coleman, Niamh Walsh, Joely Richardson, David Thewlis, Kyo Ra, Stephen Fry, Razane Jammal, Sandra James Young, and Patton Oswalt also star.

The Sandman is expected to stream next year,
