Jeff Davis’ reboot of Æon Fluxis still on the cards.
Although there’s been little news about it since the initial announcement back in 2018, Davis has now signed a deal to include Wolf Pack (see our story here), and the continuation of Aeon Flux.
The new Paramount+ series will have Davis as writer and showrunner based on the original MTV anime series that ran from 1991 to 1995 created by Peter Chung. That inspired a 2005 live action take with Charlize Theron. The story is set centuries after a virus eliminated 99% of the population, where humanity lives in a utopia that has people mysteriously disappear from time to time. Æon Flux is a deadly assassin who works alongside a group of rebels that are trying to overthrow the government and discover what’s behind those disappearances.
