British character actor Morris Perry has died aged 96.
One of his earliest appearances was in 1962 in the Out of This World episode Dumb Martian, and he acted in The Avengers, the 1967 supernatural series Haunted, The Champions and Counterstrike before playing Captain Dent in the 1971 Doctor Who story Colony in Space. Later genre work included Doomwatch, Survivors and as Barrymore in the 1982 The Hound of the Baskervilles.
