There’s yet more news of a revival of The Lost Boys.

Warner Bros. have set Randy McKinnon to write and  Jonathan Entwistle to direct the updated version of the Joel Schumacher 1987 original. Noah Jupe (A Quiet Place) and Jaeden Martell (It) are expected to star in the tale of a town terrorised by vampire bikers, faced off by two comic book nerds who think they are vampire hunters.

The new version is expected to ignore the two straight to DVD movies released by Warners in the 2000s,  Lost Boys: The Tribe and Lost Boys: The Thirst. This would also appear to mark the end of the TV version which went to pilot at the CW a few years back.
