The Penguin will be the star of his own spin-off series at HBO Max according to a report at Deadline.
The site notes that this is in the early stages of development, and will be overseen by The Batman’s Matt Reeves. The character appears played by Colin Farrell in the new Batman movie out next year, and it’s anticipated that Farrell will reprise the role for the show, which is described as a “Scarface-like” show about the character. Lauren LeFranc is set to be showrunner.
