The TV pilot of True Lies has got a stage closer with the casting of Shameless star Steve Howey in the Arnold Schwarzenegger role of Harry.

In the show, as the film, Harry is apparently a risk averse family man, but is actually a top covert agent for the US government. The pilot is written by Burn Notice’s Matt Nix with Anthony Hemingway directing and James Cameron, creator of the original, among the executive producers. No casting of the Jamie Lee Curtis role has yet been revealed.
