Paramount has moved its tentpole movies out of 2021, with the Top Gun sequel now heading for May, and Mission: Impossible 7 arriving on September 30, 2022.

This has left a gap at Thanksgiving this year, which Sony has quickly filled with the new Ghostbusters sequel, Ghostbusters: Afterlife. That will now open a week later than planned, on November 19.

Venom: Let There Be Carnage seems firmly stuck to its October spot.
