It seems as if Marvel Studios are preparing to bring their lycanthropic hero Werewolf By Night to Disney+ for a Halloween special.

According to The Wrap, the studio is looking for a Latino lead for a Halloween 2022 special. Two characters have used the nickname – Jack Russell, created by Gerry Conway and Mike Ploog from an idea by Roy Thomas for Marvel Spotlight in 1972, and Jake Gomez, introduced in 2020 and created by Taboo, Benjamin Jackendoff and Scot Eaton. If it is the former, then there are links in the comic book with Moon Knight, which is currently filming as a Disney+ series with Oscar Isaac in the lead role.
