Regular Star Trek actor Eddie Paskey has died, three days before his 82nd birthday.
Paskey was seen in 58 of the original series episodes, usually without either a name or dialogue, but most commonly known as Lt. Leslie (although one of his credited episodes spelled that Lesley). He also played the truck driver who killed Edith Keeler in The City on the Edge of Forever. He also appeared in fan series Star Trek: New Voyages as Admiral Leslie, his original series’ character’s father.
His other acting work included the original Mission: Impossible.
