A Birds of Prey spin-off featuring Black Canary is being developed by Misha Green and Jurnee Smollett.
Collider broke the news that an HBO Max movie was in preparation, with Smollett confirming the news on Twitter. Smollett played the role for the Birds of Prey movie directed by Cathy Yan in 2020. As yet there’s no indication if any of the other “Birds” or Margot Robbie’s Harley Quinn will be involved.
