Speculation has been rife since the end of The Falcon and the Winter Soldier miniseries that Anthony Mackie will assume the role of Captain America on the big as well as small screen, and it’s now been confirmed that Captain America 4 is in preparation with him in the lead.

Other details are sparse, but Falcon… creator Malcolm Spellman, along with series staff writer Dalan Musson are penning the script. Whether Sebastian Stan will be involved, or who will be directing is as yet unknown.
