Post-apocalyptic drama The Survivalist, starring Ruby Modine, Jonathan Rhys Meyers, and John Malkovich arrives in October, and there’s now a trailer demonstrating the way that the world has gone to rack and ruin following a viral epidemic. It’s directed by Jon Keeyes and will be released in the US on October 20.

The official synopsis reads: A year and a half after the fall of civilization due to a viral outbreak, a former FBI agent is forced to protect a young woman immune to the disease from a dangerous gang leader hunting her for her blood.
