Sci-Fi Bulletin: Exploring the Universes of SF, Fantasy, Horror and Spy-fi!

As part of FX’s announcements at the TCAs, John Landgraf confirmed that the new Alien TV series is in preparation and is likely to hit screens in 2023.

Noah Hawley’s series is a “beast” to put together, but “we’re well into it.” The series is set on Earth in the not too distant future.

Hawley has previously explained his choice of location: “The Alien stories are always trapped… Trapped in a prison, trapped in a spaceship,” he told Vanity Fair last month. “I thought it would be interesting to open it up a little bit so that the stakes of ‘What happens if you can’t contain it?’ are more immediate.”
