The first season of Syfy’s Chucky show has wrapped.

The eight episode season started shooting in Toronto in March. All episodes are written by Child’s Play’s Don Mancini, and he’s also directed the pilot, which picks up from the end of the seventh movie.

Brad Dourif,  Alex Vincent, Fiona Dourif and Christine Elise McCarthy are reprising their roles from the movies, and Jennifer Tilly will also be recurring on the show as Tiffany Valentine, the long-time girlfriend of Charles Lee Ray.  Zackary Arthur, Teo Briones, Alyvia Alyn Lind, Björgvin Arnarson, Devon Sawa Lexa Doig and Barbara Alyn Woods also star.

The first episode arrives on October 12.
