The new animated take on Night of the Dead arrives in September, and there’s a first chance to see the new version.
Katharine Isabelle and Jimmi Simpson star as Barbara and Johnny with Dulé Hill as Ben, with Katee Sackhoff as Judy, Josh Duhamel and Nancy Travis as Harry and Helen Cooper, James Roday Rodriguez as Tom, and Will Sasso as Sheriff McClelland. It’s written by John A. Russo and directed by Jason Axinn based on – but as the trailer indicates at times riffing on – the George A Romero original.
