The 1997 movie Cube continues to inspire filmmakers, and a Japanese take on the tale of strangers brought together is coming out later this year.
Yasuhiko Shimizu has directed the new version which will be released in Japan on October 22, although as yet there’s no confirmed US or UK date.
A mysterious cube. 6 men and women are suddenly trapped in Cube. It’s unclear where this is, why they are trapped, whether there is an exit, whether they can survive, or what the room even is.
